Let's kick it off with by far my favourite show this season...........................
HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - 11/10
***SPOILER***
I FUCKIN' CALLED IT, I FUCKIN' CALLED IT !!!!!!!!!!!
In one of my previous articles I said that not only would Asuna and his friends be part of the reason Kirito wakes up but one of the most important people to his return would be Eugeo, and I was right. They are like, "Kirito's brainwaves peaked when Asuna, Sinon, and Leafa joined the server. Their memories of Kirito must be what we can imprint to fix him. Cool. Didn't work. Then they were like, someone from inside the Underworld is finishing the imprint of their important memories of Kirito to help bring him back but who....................it was Eugeo. I knew he'd be the biggest reason behind Kirito's return. When Kirito was disconnected in limbo when the power shut off it was just after his best friend, a guy he'd spent a solid real world equivalent of two years with, a guy he fought with, nearly died with; someone who Kirito saw as someone who sacrificed himself when it should've been him and Eugeo was too good of a person to let die. Before Kirito was knocked out into his state after he killed the Administrator, Eugeo had died, he was unsure of Alice's fate, Cardinal had died, and he was almost certain he lost everyone else from his life before as well; as far as Kirito thought at the time, he had nothing left. A state that while the girls were able to imprint their memories of him to fix the rest of him, it would be impossible for anyone BUT Eugeo to help fix him. Oh and to toss in one last spoiler, if Eugeo helping Kirito the entire time was his Deus Ex Machina, then having Yuuki show up to assist Asuna like 2 times was hers.
***END SPOILERS***
Needless to say that this wrapped itself up in a neat and interesting way and was "technically" the end of Sword Art Online. I already covered a few things as far as spoilers that were just things I just had to say but needless to say there is a lot more. This was a great end to the arc and I feel that the Alicization/War for Underworld arcs are the best part of SAO; crisp and beautiful animation, depth to characters, not as much fan service, a good story, generally more interesting than everything before. They have already announced and set up Sword Art Online: Progressive which was a light novel an manga that has already finished and that focuses on Asuna's story between the end of her first raid with Kirito up until the Assault Team days where she becomes Vice Commander of the Knights of the Blood Oath. They also have Sword Art Online: Girls Ops to use if they wanted to, they could do another season of GGO Alternative, and I'm sure they have plans for a future Kirito series for fans of his. I'm incredibly pleased with the way this show went.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - 9/10 (WATCH ALL OF SAO BUT ESPECIALLY ALICIZATION/WAR FOR UNDERWORLD)
HIGH RECOMMEND - 8.5/10 (BUT YOU OBVIOUSLY NEED TO SEE FIRE FORCE S.1 FIRST)
