WE START WITH THIS ABSOLUTE GEM:
Myself and others I've listened to, talked to, all agree, that Attack On Titan has progressed so far and done better and better each time it is going to be the anime that defines this generation.

It's immediately got that old Japanese flair to it, the same way shows like Dororo and Golden Kamui caught my attention, going back and using that feudal era Japanese style of samurai-esque things is always a treat. But this is about Demon Slayers, Tanjiro who had no intention of becoming such a thing ended up training to become one under the recommendation of a Demon Slayer named Giyu, the reason: Tanjiro's family was slaughtered by a demon and his sister, Nezuko, became a demon but rather than killing him she protected him from Giyu. He saw this and Tanjiro's desire to save his sister and said becoming a Demon Slayer was the only way and boy has he ever. Tanjiro goes through intense training, kills random demons during his selection but also has encountered several powerful demons over the course of the show so far. Including, Kibutsuji Muzan, the demon responsible for creating all demons and the specific demon responsible for massacring Tanjiro & Nezuko's family. After seeing firsthand what Muzan is capable of it strengthens Tanjiro's resolve even more. The only things that could possibly hinder him are other people (or so we think), enter Zenitsu and Inosuke, both interesting characters and awesome demon slayers in their own right who don't actually hinder but create more help for Tanjiro to rely on so that he doesn't put too much burden on his own battered body and strain on Nezuko's demon abilities. The visuals in the show are beautiful, colours that just pop off the screen and contrast with one another so well, no where is that more evident than when Tanjiro uses Water Breathing Form or Zenitsu uses Lightning Style or Inosuke uses Beast Breathing Form just the flair and style is awesome. The character designs are also fantastic, like I said, this is ufotable's best stuff since Fate/Stay Night: UBW. I can't wait to see what more is in store for these demon hunters.

That's the idea behind this whole show. It has to be one of my favourite shows of the season. What antics and situations would happen if you brought Kazuma, Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin from Konosuba. Brought Ains Ooal Gown, Albedo, Shalltear, Deimurge, Cocyutus, Aura, and Mare from Overlord. Brought Tanya Van Deugerchaff and her most important Mage Battallion members. And brought Subaru, Emilia, Rem, Ram, and Beatrice from Re:Zero and made ALL OF THEM students in school. Their teacher is Rosswall from Re:Zero, the Principal and Vice-Principal are commanders from Tanya's world. Basically let's allow things Subaru, Kazuma, Ains, and Tanya were able to do on Earth happen but in another world with their other worldly companions. Learning how to form friendships with one another, learning how to do school work together, forming class representatives and class roles, going on class trips, having talent shows, typical Japanese student life (which being NEET's neither Kazuma or Subaru truly experienced either). So many funny things happen, it's just a very light-hearted and enjoyable show.
I am also a HUGE fan of the chibi art style, not a lot of people are but I always have been, and while this was first seen in Overlord's extra episodes characters from Konosuba, Re:Zero, and Tanya all fit well into the art style. All of the original voice actors are there which helped bring more to it. They even had a second class at the school full of secondary characters from the shows. The best part, they've already said there's going to be another season......with new Isekai characters from other shows.

So ya, now that we know that it's hot trash, best way to describe this show: fan service and incredibly indecent as far as situations go. The show is about four students: Ichiro Sato, Rin Suzuki, Takashi Takahashi, and Ko Tanaka & four of their teachers: Kana Kojima, Mayu Matsukaze, Hikari Hazakura, and Chizuru Tachibana. To be specific, it's about the "what are you doing here sensei" moments that happens to every single student, in every episode, that leads to all of these four lads getting involved with their respective teacher. Kana is known as a "demon" to her students but after several encounters with her, Ichiro Sato, sees how close she is to his family and how his mom has liked her for years and really wants to see them together when he graduates, and they both do fall for each other. Mayu is a quiet and shy art teacher, Suzuki is a massively tall and scary looking student but is also selfless to a fault, she has one of those floppy crushes that she hopes he likes her but she's not sure and he's clueless but finds out and is embarrassed as hell but eventually falls for her as well. Next student up is Takashi who grew up with & was babysat by his then future phys ed teacher Hikari when he was a little kid; so when Hika-nee starts to show interest in him he's shocked but eventually finds that same interest back considering how long they've known each other. The final student is Ko Tanaka who finds himself in awkward situations with the school nurse Chizuru Tachibana, whose nickname is Ice Cold or something similar because she shows no emotions towards students or others. She asks Hikari for advice and she says just find a student and be nicer to them, she chose Ko, and just working on being more friendly turned into a relationship as soon as he graduated. It's a nicely animated show, it's funny, but there are so many lewd scenes with funny ways to censor them (on purpose) for comedic effect.
But in the end, it's just pure trash....pure trash that you can't help but watch.

We Never Learn is basically a simple school, slice of life rom-com that centres around Yuiga, a lower-economic kid who wants to get into a good university to get a good life for him and his family. The principal of his school, after seeing Yuiga's grades offers him a VIP recommendation to his school of choice on one condition, he has to tutor the English genius Fumino Furuhashi and Science/Math genius Ogata Rizu both of whom refuse to give up wanting to get into university in the subject they are worst at. The principal also tacks on the tutoring of star athlete Uruka Takemoto, Yuiga's childhood friend and girl who has a super crush on him, to the mix as well. So this is basically one boy and three girls, you'd think harem, but no the show does a good job playing it all off as just legit Yuiga wants the girls to do well at studying and to see them succeed in life. He wants to succeed in life. It's each girl that has to come to grips with their already feelings for Yuiga, Takemoto, or their newly found feelings for Yuiga, Ogata and possibly Furuhashi. He only has brief moments when he finds out through a mistake that Uruka likes him, that he starts to realize that maybe he feels the same, but that was honestly the only break in his character the entire time; the rest of the time Yuiga was a supportive tutor and friend. He also receives a bit of tutoring from Kirisu-sensei who tried to tutor the girls but failed, when the girls find out he's getting helped by her they're not pleased but they understand. Then there was the late episode edition of Kominami, the girl from prep-school, who's trying to but has failed to get into med-school to take over her father's clinic and is also being tutored by Yuiga even though it's unintentional. It's a light hearted show, fun to watch, I really like Yuiga's response to certain situations, and I really like Takemoto's character though from every anime and manga I've ever read.....the childhood friend and first crush never get the boy so she's doomed.

However, unlike We Never Learn, I honestly considered dropping this show and only finished it because 1) they were short form episodes so they were 12 minutes and 2) I was interested in what kind of ridiculous excuse Ao would come up with as to why she couldn't date Kijima. Basically, Ao's father is an erotic novel writer and she's been so sheltered her whole life that her perception of love and relationships are the terrible things he's written. She wants to get out of that situation so all she wants to do is study, study to get into a top university, and ignore everything else. Kijima though, he really likes Ao, and tells her how he feels but she just thinks he's a boy so he has ulterior motives as that's what her fathers books said but he's rather genuine. Anyways it continues like that for 12 episodes and by the end it's happy times, they end up together, but both promise to study hard and end up at the same university.
DON'T WATCH IT - 4.5/10
This go around was fantastic, I don't feel I need to write more than I have in previous articles, the show is so good that I think you should sit and watch it rather than be told about it.
