I use this as the title because while it's not a phrase she, like when Steve Austin muttered it at King of the Ring, the essence is the same. Becky Lynch is the Stone Cold Steve Austin of women's wrestling in WWE.
All of it started when a "face" Charlotte, for she is never truly a face in the peoples eyes, was attacked at Summer Slam by Becky. To me and many others it was great because we got to see Becky try to reassert herself in the main event scene. She'd been floating around the non-existent midcard for a long time now and hadn't been a main eventer since becoming the inaugural SmackDown Women's Champion then losing eventually to Alexa Bliss. When she attacked her people saw WWE trying to force a "heel" Becky vs "face" Charlotte but the fans were not having it. Becky was just too lovable. Chants of "you deserve it" and "lets go Becky" among others were constantly shouted when she cut harsh promos on the young Flair.
No one wants to or could dislike the fiery Irish Bad Lass.
Then it happened, WWE actually made a smart decision, they saw the hype and pulled the trigger. BANG. Becky Lynch was SmackDown Women's Champion. This led to some absolutely epic match ups against Charlotte Flair sometimes for the title, sometimes not, and also against other top women in the division. Of course that includes the EPIC Last Woman Standing match that her and Flair had at the Evolution PPV, which was one of the shows best (if not the best) match. They were riding high, still portraying Becky as tough as nails but the everyday girl too. The new Steve Austin.
Then came Survivor Series, or at least the plan for Survivor Series, which always has Champion vs Champion matches; meaning we would get to see "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey against the "Irish Lass Kicker", "The Man" Becky Lynch. Thus the shit talking began. Lynch laid into Rousey the same way Austin used to lay into people and also to make a real-world comparison; she's like her fellow Irish countryman Connor McGregor. Signs for Becky 3:16 were starting to pop up it was a thing and everyone saw how awesome it was. That's when as usual for Survivor Series one show invades the other; SmackDown invaded RAW this year and that's when Nia Jax, not knowing how to wrestle, potato-ed Becky and broke her nose and gave her a slight concussion. She was a bloody mess and looked like Steve Austin in Wrestlemania 13 against Bret Hart; Becky didn't give in, she finished their attack and then moved on.

She had to name a replacement to fight Rousey at the actual Survivor Series as it was approaching fast, so even with a busted up face she showed up the next night on SmackDown to declare Charlotte was going to take her place against Rousey. Then things were over before they began, Rousey won, and now we move onto the continuation of the Lynch & Flair feud, which oh boy has offered up some amazing promos and Becky throwing mega shade Charlotte's way via Twitter as well as on television. The below picture Becky posted to her Twitter (and I fully agree) so I, and others, got a chuckle out of it.
Now we get to see where things go from here, the feud continues onwards and at the next PPV we get to see Becky defend her title against Charlotte AND Asuka. The 3 best women on SmackDown; well I mean Becky is the best, so the best and two great ones. Needless to say with her cavalier, never say die, defiant attitude and her crowd appeal and relatability I can't imagine WWE wanting to move on from her. The only possibility, the only one, I see is the insertion of Asuka leading to her beating Charlotte in the Triple Threat for the title and Becky not involved; Becky then goes on to win the Royal Rumble; Becky challenges Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania and wins the RAW Women's Championship. Only way I see it leaving her waist.
Because right now, she's the saving grace of the division, the new Steve Austin, long live the "Irish Lass Kicker" Becky 3:16.
