In case for some reason you watch or pay attention to wrestling and live under a rock, WWE has finally cleared Daniel Bryan to wrestle again for them. This is huge news as many doctors outside the company had cleared Bryan for active in-ring competition and there were many rumours that he would leave when his contract expired to go wrestle in New Japan Pro Wrestling or head back to Ring of Honor to compete.
However, the leader of the Yes movement has finally been cleared to return to WWE so he doesn't need to move on, in fact based on their recent attack on him things seem to be set to have Bryan take on Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn or both at Wrestlemania 34. Having Bryan's first match on the biggest stage of all will give that feel good 'Mania moment and so will his inevitable victory over his opponent.
Is Daniel's return to the ring a good thing though ??
On one hand Bryan has always been an underdog, facing overwhelming obstacles, in the big man's game of WWE he became the WWE Champion against Randy Orton and Batista despite the odds. He is someone who grabbed Vince's imaginary brass rings to create his own story of success through the Yes Movement; the only other superstar to create their own superstardom this way is Zack Ryder but I have a whole other story to cover him one day. On the other hand, Daniel's injuries include at least one or two concussions in WWE but who knows what occurred before that and he also lost all the feeling in his right arm and had to have neck surgery to fix that. The surgery did mend his neck issue but his arm still didn't function properly until he went to seek more help. They still let him compete but it was so sparse that eventually even WWE was like, "that's enough you have to retire", like they asked both Edge and Paige to do.
With these injury issues present, cleared or not, do we really want to see Daniel Bryan potentially lose more than just a barely salvaged career ?? I understand the man wants to wrestle, but so did Edge, the difference is one didn't want to put his health on the line and risk potential paralysis just to do it. I don't want to see Daniel Bryan compete if it means he's going to become seriously injured. His return is a great thing for fans, it was a huge pop and it was great to see. I know that his exciting style of wrestling will give SmackDown Live a huge kick in the ass that it so desperately needs at this point and should his health remain consistent don't be surprised to see him take on either AJ or Shinuske (whoever the champ is) come after Wrestlemania 34 in another underdog storyline.

SO IN REGARDS TO HIS RETURN, I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING HIM COMPETE AGAIN BECAUSE HE WANTS TO BUT IF IT COMES AT THE COST OF HIS HEALTH THAT'S SOMETHING I DON'T WANT AND WOULD PREFER IF BRYAN RETIRED BUT FOR GOOD THIS TIME.
