Rhea Ripley is one of the most dominant women in the WWE and I think in the world. While I thought she would be booked that way including winning the WWE RAW Women's Championship, it seemed like WWE did a WWE and went towards the usual "Charlotte on SmackDown and let's bring back Rhonda Rousey cuz ya know she hates pro wrestling but CELEBRITY NAMES" and Becky Lynch to Bianca Belair on RAW for some reason. Don't get me wrong, Belair is okay, but like when you have a roster on RAW that has Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, and Asuka then I disagree with putting the belt on her. Particularly when Ripley, to me, has a stronger character than Belair who I see as basically an inferior version/rip-off Sasha Banks. So okay they booked her incredibly poorly since losing the title, she was in a bunch of one off matches and stuff, still managing to be an incredible force but not receiving the backing that WWE should give her as someone that should be a cornerstone of the division.
Then along came the tag team she had with Liv Morgan.
Then along came the tag team she had with Liv Morgan.
What you would think wouldn't work at first because of Morgan's more upbeat and nice character despite being a "punk" not meshing with Ripley's rough edges, tough as nails, metal character. It worked and it worked hella well, it was a travesty that they never put the "essentially useless" WWE Women's Tag belts on them but they should have. What was so good about Ripley and Morgan is they came off as legit best friends, their personalities meshing, and there was often a lovey dovey atmosphere that came out as well. Whether you loved or hated it, Rhea and Liv had a good chemistry, it was fun to watch; they absolutely deserved to carry gold but WWE is gonna WWE and they put the belts on a random stable of Sasha & Naomi. When Rhea turned heel against Liv I knew that WWE had some kind of plan for her, I didn't think that they'd have her do a long feud with Liv, but with her being a heel now that the possibility was open to put her against Bianca once the feud with Becky Lynch was over; basically immediately toss Rhea back into the title contender-ship situation. My other idea was one that.........came true actually. Because what happened was I knew that AJ Styles was going to take on Edge at Wrestlemania: Backlash and that Ripley's style and character mesh very well with Edge's Judgment Day stable. To me one of two things was going to happen since Damien Priest was banned from ringside. Either 1) Finn Balor was going to come out and turn on AJ joining Edge and staying as "Demon" Finn Balor for the foreseeable future OR 2) Rhea Ripley comes out and costs AJ the match then leaving a setup for her to be featured in a prominent stable with a solid future as a great heel. I was right about the latter though I was also expecting the former because Balor showed up first. Though I was confused as if Priest came to ringside Edge was supposed to lose the match, and he did, and still won the match because I suppose the referee forgot the stipulation or the writers forgot their own storyline. Who knows, who cares ??
ALL I KNOW, is that Judgment Day is going to be great for Rhea Ripley.

I expect big things for Rhea coming out of working with Judgment Day, the main reason being that she is working with a WWE legend in Edge. Even though he's not in the women's division, Edge will still be around as part of the stable, his presence will be there and create that motivation. I'm sure in the background in off character moments that Adam Copeland will impart more words of knowledge upon both members of the stable but that's besides the point. Thing is, Rhea has the ability to take her already amazing technique, strong game, and huge talent to the next level. Does she need a stable to get over ? HELL NO. Rhea Ripley is one of the best wrestlers around, quote that I said wrestlers, not just women. What I do feel about the time she spends in Judgment Day will be setting up Rhea to be the biggest heel in the company, she will overshadow Becky Lynch on RAW and even Charlotte on SmackDown. It will SLAM her into title contention, where she belongs, because they will book her to be even more dominant than she already is.
She is one of the best wrestlers WWE has seen in the division and they need to show it by booking her strong, making her the unquestioned queen of the WWE, I may have said that Becky Lynch is that in the past and I still think she's amazing BUT as far as toughness, strength, work, and good looks I think Rhea has her beat. Hopefully one day soon we see the return of RAW or SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley, like we see in these two classic matches she put on below with Asuka for the RAW title and Shayna Baizler for the NXT title.
I think it really is Judgment Day........for WWE's women's division.
